The Knipex StriX Insulation Stripper are made from high-grade tool steel that has been forged and oil-hardened, multiple times. They are ideal for single, multiple and fine stranded conductors with plastic or rubber insulation, max 5.0mm or resp. 10mm² cable cross section. Increments in the jaw provide a visual orientation aid for stripping consistent lengths (11mm and 16mm).

The knurled screw and lock nut provide easy adjustment to the required diameter of solid or stranded wire. Also fitted with a shear blade for cutting copper cable up to 15mm (5 x 2.5mm²) and a bolted joint for precise operation with zero backlash. The pliers have a slim design for easy access.

VDE tested. Tested up to 1,000 volts.
